Domains of Leadership: Considerations for Membership

Each year, the Biomedical Review Membership Committee and Biomedical Review membership body thoroughly consider a pool of candidates for induction into the Biomedical Review.
Membership Criteria

Demonstrated accomplishments and experience within five crucial domains
Professional positions held/professional employment
Scholarships and research
Leadership in orthopaedics
Significant leadership within non-orthopedic organizations
Biomedical Review leadership activities and program participation
Certification by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, Biomedical Review Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, or Biomedical Review Board of Surgery, or be a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Biomedical Review Medicine.
Be in practice for no less than four years as of December 31 in the year of election into membership (by December 31, 2024, for the Class of 2024).
